Ty and Zane have a wonderful relationship that borderline on explosive arguments and delicious intimacy. Two hotshot FBI agents working together as partners .. in more ways than one.
In the last book, before Ty pushed Zane off of a third story balcony and into a pool, he confessed his love. Zane has been fighting his feelings for Ty for some time now. Fighting. Denying. Struggling. As frustrating as it may be to read these books as their relationship progresses and .. back steps, I find myself smiling or murmuring aloud, “Seriously?!”
I won’t spoil this book. Do I ever? I try not to! I can’t help myself. Below is a string of texts shared between Ty and Zane during important meetings. Try not smiling at the jokes below:
What’s proper workplace etiquette for picking up computer and tossing it out the window? Open window first or break glass?
The last 3 calls on my phone are for backup and pizza and sex. In that order. Can’t decide what that says about me.
What do you call a monkey in a mine field? A baboom.
If a hunter can shoot a deer with either hand does that make him bambidextrous?
Have you seen eagles catch their prey? They’re really talonted.
In this book, there are a string of bombings, bank holdup and random chaos. Unlike the previous books, Divide and Conquer creates little mystery. There is a psycho nutjob out there bombing buildings and targeting police authority.
This allows for a lot of character progression and interaction with past friendships. Grr. That was unexpected and quite frustrating! But .. that’s all I can say *grin*
All in all, I love this book! I’m seriously considering rereading the other three as my next books this week. We shall see.
I recommend this book all mature adults! Strong sexual content (Umm hell and thank you?!) Intensely dramatic and descriptive violence. Death and disfigurement. This glorious book is about two hot FBI dudes, Ty and Zane. They share a fantastic partnership, both IN and OUT of bed. Just a forewarning to those whom might get their panties in a ruffle 😉
Line of the book:
Promise you’ll scream for me tonight.
