Book of the day … Vengeance in Death – An In Death series novel # 6 by J.D. Robb

I so need a break from the paranormal books I have been reading.  They are sucking what little brain cells I have into oblivion while giggling along the way.  *blink*

I could not decide between In Death or Stephanie Plum.  I’m not in a ha ha funny mood at the moment, so bloody gore mystery will suffice!

My momma is visiting me this week!  My birthday is the 18th, and school begins the 17th.  That’s so unfair.  So she has surprised me with a visit; too cool!  Suffice it so say, I will not finish reading this book this week 🙂  I doubt you will receive any posts at all, unless something is drumming against my mind, it will all have to wait until she leaves 🙂  Until then!

On to better and cooler things!  The In Death series by J.D. Robb.  I have yet to read this series in its entirety.  Vengeance in Death will be a first read for me, as well as those that follow.

Summary of Vengeance in Death:

He is an expert with the latest technology…a madman with the mind of a genius and the heart of a killer. He quietly stalks his prey. Then he haunts the police with cryptic riddles about the crimes he is about to commit–always solved moments too late to save his victims’ lives. Police lieutenant Eve Dallas found the first victim butchered in his own home. The second lost his life in a vacant luxury apartment. The two men had little in common. Both suffered unspeakable torture before their deaths. And both had ties to an ugly secret of ten years past–a secret shared by none other than Eve’s new husband, Roarke.
