Book of the day … Wicked Games by Jill Myles

Found this on Kindle as a freebie ebook ..

I need a break from the J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series.  I love the series, I do! …But, the next book is Phury’s story and I just didn’t much care for it at all.  The only part that made the novel worthy (for me) was the other character soap opera moments ❤

So!  With that said .. I’m going to check out Wicked Games …

Abby Lewis never pictured herself on the survival game show, Endurance  Island. She’s just not the  ‘survival’ type. But when her boss offers  her a spot on the show and the opportunity of a lifetime, she packs her  bags and heads to the tropics to be a contestant. Once in the game,  though, it’s clear that Abby’s in over her head.

No one’s more  competitive than sexy, delicious – and arrogant – Dean Woodall. Sure,  he’s clever, strong, good at challenges, and has a body that makes her  mouth water. He also hates Abby just as much as she hates him. That’s  fine with her; she’ll just ignore the jerk.

But the rules of  Endurance Island are working against them. Abby and Dean are teamed up –  alone – on the beach. It’s either work together, or go home. Stuck with  no one’s company but their own, they learn they might just make a good  team after all. And Abby learns that with just a little bit of kindling, the flames of hate can quickly turn to flames of passion…

This book (approx 58,000 words) features enemies, lovers, enemies who become lovers, and lots and lots of tropical heat…

  1. Free is always a good price!

  2. So ..unable to move forward with my day without a book planned for later .. I looked online. Jill Myles has several free eBooks. I’m going to get them out of my system (I “bought” 4 I think), then I will ahead with some Kallysten books 🙂

  3. Tilly,

If you haven’t found them yet, I suggest Kallysten and Shiloh Walker. I love the Hunters, Grimm, and Through The Viel series by Shiloh and I love several series by Kallysten. I would recommend her Out of The Box series, Blurred Bloodlines and On The Edge books. All very hottt!!!

    • Wow! That’s a lot of books 🙂 I just finished reading Wicked Games .. I need something new to read. Choices choices .. Thanks for the recommendations! I am going to walk downtown and do some window shopping. I’ll have to pick something when I return!

  4. I know what you mean about Phury’s book. I didn’t like it very much either. I was certainly interested in Qhuinn and Blay and everybody else but the Wizard got on my nerves. I’m interested to see what you think of Wicked Games. Sounds a bit like Survivor steamed up.
