Book of the day .. Bone Crossed by Patricia Briggs

Yesterday morning, I began my day with a new book .. YAY!  Unsual?  Yea right ..

I was running out of books to read .. as if that could ever happen!  So, I surfed online a bit and found some new authors to check out.

Patricia Briggs totally rocks my world!  This series has completely entrapped me.  If you’re interested in paranormal mystery / romance .. surrounded by werewolves, vampires and interesting fae species without all of the corny, repetive and unauthentic jumbo that has been going on .. then this is the author and series for you!  Patricia Briggs is wonderfully brilliant and I am looking forward to reading the last two books released in this series, Silver Borne and River Marked.

Bone Crossed is the fourth book in her Mercy Thompson series and the only reason my nose isn’t in the book now, is that I promised myself I would at least work on this site a wee bit before my weekend starts 🙂

So far the book is amazing.  One thing I will be doing this weekend .. I will be writing reviews for each book in this series.  I have no doubt that I will finish Bone Crossed and the last two books that have been released before the weekend is up.

Happy reading!

Back cover:

Welcome to Patricia Brigg’s world, a place where “witches, vampires, werewolves and shape-shifters live beside orginary people” (Booklist) It takes a very unsusal woman to call it home-and there’s no one quite like Mercy Thompson.

As a shapeshifter with some unique talents, ace car mechanic Mercy has had to maintain a tenuous harmony between the human and the not so human within the Tri-cities of Eastern Washington on more than one occasion.  But this time she may be in over her head.

Marsilia, the local Vampire Queen, has learned that Mercy crossed her by slaying a member of her clan.  Now she’s out for blood.  But since Mercy is proteced from the vampire’s direct reprisal by the were-wolf pack-and her close relation with its sexy Alphaiit’s not Mercy’s blood Marsilia is after…

It’s her friends’.
